FloraVibes is built by an independent developer. This policy explains what data the app touches, what it doesn't, and why.
FloraVibes has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no tracking pixels, and no telemetry. We do not collect your name, email address, location, IP address, device identifiers, or usage patterns. We don't collect or store any of this — not on our servers, not anywhere.
All your plant data — names, photos, watering schedules, rooms, and notes — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device except in the specific case described below (Plant Identification).
Your notification preferences and widget data are also stored entirely on-device.
FloraVibes offers optional Plant ID and Health Check features powered by the Plant.id API, operated by Kindwise / FlowerChecker, s.r.o. (based in the Czech Republic).

This is important. By submitting a photo through Plant ID or Health Check, FlowerChecker (Kindwise, s.r.o.) receives a non-exclusive, unlimited, and irrevocable license to use and modify those photos for commercial purposes, including:
This license is granted under FlowerChecker's Terms and Conditions (Section 17.5) and cannot be revoked once a photo has been submitted.
FloraVibes asks for your explicit consent before sending any photo to Plant.id for the first time. You can review Plant.id's own privacy policy at: https://web.plant.id/privacy-policy/
You are never required to use these features. Every part of FloraVibes works without them. You can add and manage all your plants manually.
FloraVibes offers a one-time Pro upgrade via Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. FloraVibes never receives or stores your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID.
The app includes stock plant images (sourced from Pexels under the Pexels license) and background music from public domain recordings (sourced from Wikimedia Commons). These assets are bundled within the app and involve no network requests or data collection.
FloraVibes may request permission to display badge counts and send local notifications for watering reminders. These are generated entirely on-device and do not involve any external servers.
The home screen widget reads your plant data from shared on-device storage. No data leaves your device.

In practice, FloraVibes stores no personal data on any server. Photos sent through the API relay are forwarded immediately and not retained. Your plant data lives on your device and can be deleted by deleting the app. The only scenario where personal data (photos) leaves your device is the Plant ID/Health Check feature, which requires your explicit consent and is processed by Kindwise/FlowerChecker as described above. For requests related to photos already submitted to Plant.id, contact FlowerChecker directly per their privacy policy.

FloraVibes does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since the app collects no personal data by default, there is nothing to collect.
